I will advocate for competitive total compensation, sustainable health benefits and retirement, reasonable workloads, manageable class sizes, strong special education support, and working conditions that empower teachers to focus on what they do best: teaching.

IV. Ask for evidence before spending your money on educational policies. Before I vote to approve any program in the Ryan Rauzon campaign, here is the checklist I will ask for, every single time, even when it makes the meeting run long: a clearly defined need. Baseline data. Evidence supporting the approach. Real costs, including staffing and training. Measurable outcomes. A timeline for review. And an explanation of how teachers, staff, and families actually gave input — not "input was gathered," but how, from whom, and what changed because of it, especially in the context of the Torrance school board election.

V. Go find the voices that can't make a Tuesday meeting.
