People choose Torrance for great public schools. Parents need to own the volunteer work of their child's public education at every level. From book fair and library chair to school board member.  I have high hopes for the future of education here. I can tell you the schools mostly deliver, and 'mostly' is the word doing a lot of work in that sentence. I've watched teachers being blamed for an underfunded system. We can also solve this air conditioning problem! It's a doable thing.
